Helicopter pilot.
Tennis legend.
Pickle farmer.

Patty is none of these things.

But, she’s not bad at drawing and writing, so that’s nice. Having spent many years as a graphic designer and creative director making cool stuff for adults, she now is thrilled to make even cooler stuff for kids. She loves creating quirky, lovable characters in a fun, graphic style. Her kid lit mission is to make kids (and their grown ups) laugh. A lot.

Patty is also the award-winning creator of Adventures in Momming, a comic that appears monthly in Growing Up in Santa Cruz magazine. You can check out that work under the Editorial tab above.

Patty loves being the mom of the most amazing 12-year-old in the universe, making neapolitan pizza, and taking long hikes in the northern-ish California woods with her endearingly mischievous pups. And, when he’s not snoring or talking about smart plugs, she enjoys spending time with her husband, too.

Patty is represented by Jennifer Rofé of the Andrea Brown Literary Agency.
